Kahoot

 I believe Kahoot is an effective and a fun tool to be used in classrooms or learning environments. It can consolidate the information that has been learned in the lesson and also it can be a good way for teachers to assess students' knowledge level by using Kahoot. Moreover, its interactive and user-friendly software also helps teachers in the designing process of the questions. It makes instruction active by including the students into the lesson and eliminates one-sided lecture. Also, while answering the questions students may find out about their shortcomes, their lack of information about the topic and therefore be more conscious about their autonomous learning. They can also see their accomplishments in a concrete way that may motivate them. Furthermore, Kahoot may trigger students to do better because of the ranking and students may try to answer correctly to be at the top, so it creates a fun competitive environment. However, due to the anonymity of the answers, feeling of shame and anxiety is reduced to minimum. So, I think that Kahoot is a beneficial tool for education combining learning and entertainment in an efficient way.
